Minimally Invasive Dentistry and Dental Implants
Dr. George places an emphasis on minimally invasive dentistry for composite dental fillings, dental crowns, inlays, and onlays. It is his philosophy that the best dentistry is that which preserves as much of the patients natural tooth structure as possible. Dental fillings, crowns, inlays, and onlays replace tooth structure that has been lost due to decay, broken teeth, or cracked teeth. This is done by only removing the necessary tooth structure that is needed to achieve a great functional and clinical result. Fillings, crowns, inlays, and onlays allow for a functional and esthetic replacement of lost tooth structure. Onlays or “crownlays” are a better alternative, when possible, to a dental crown as they maintain more of the patients natural tooth structure.
Dr. George does not currently surgically place any dental implants but do restore dental implants with dental implant crowns.
