Rhonda Weatherbie-McLouth, RDH
Rhonda Weatherbie-McLouth has spent most of her life in the health and dental fields. She has worked as a Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Dental Hygiene Educator, and Dental Hygiene Program Director. Her passion for helping people has taken her to El Salvador multiple time to provide dental care in a small village in the mountains. In addition, she continues to lead teams of dental hygiene students to Honduras to provide dental services to children.
She received her education at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park Kansas with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from University of Missouri Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. In addition, she has studied her Master’s Degree in Instructional Design and Technology at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. She completed a Mini-Residency in Nursing Home Care and implemented a dental clinic in a Nursing Home setting. She also has extensive training and experience in dental hygiene education, accreditation, and clinic construction.
Rhonda grew up on a farm in Kansas and has recently moved to Monument from Florida. She enjoys hiking, yoga, and staying active. Her husband Scott is retired Air Force after 22 years active duty and continues to work at The Air Force Academy as an Air Traffic Controller. Together they have 4 children, 3 grandchildren and love spending time outdoors and working on their new home.
